About Us

 

I am a sole proprietor of my business and I'm thrilled to be embarking on my fourth year in business.  Unlike my previous years, I'm changing directions and I’m embracing the world of annual containers.

I'm looking forward to a fresh challenge.  I've spent the last 15 years as a registered Landscape Architect, (and before that as a software engineer,) and much of my work was on a computer screen.  However, fate took an interesting turn when a local purveyor of seasonal containers approached me. She was retiring and sought someone to carry on her business. 

Without hesitation, I enthusiastically accepted. 

Why? I was craving something more tangible, more rooted in the actual world. Working with plants, creating plant arrangements, working with and experiencing the rhythm of the different seasons sounded extrodinary. It's a welcomed departure from my "screen-time" past, and it gives me a creative outlet that soothes my soul.

And so, here I stand—a fresh chapter unfolding. This season brings growth, not only for my business but also for me personally.
